Durga Public Memorial Trust was established in 2017 to honour the enduring legacy of Late Shri Durga Prasad Matanhelia. Since its inception, the Trust has been steadfast in its commitment to social development, contributing meaningfully across multiple spheres of community upliftment.

Recognising the long-standing need for quality education in and around Campierganj, Late Shri Durga Prasad Matanhelia envisioned an institution that would enrich young minds, instil strong values, and empower future generations to contribute to nation-building. Guided by this vision, the Trust sought to create an educational environment that inspires excellence, nurtures character, and broadens opportunities for every child.

In fulfilling this cherished dream, the Trust takes pride in becoming a franchisee of the Jagran Education Foundation, established under the aegis of the Shri Puranchandra Gupta Smarak Trust founded in the revered memory of Late Shri Puran Chandra Gupta, the illustrious founder of Dainik Jagran. Through this association, the Trust aims to bring world-class educational standards, progressive learning practices, and a culture of holistic development to the region.
